A shadow is a replica of one's existence. It doesn't have a physical form, yet it can be seen as a persona unto itself. It seems to be real, but it might also represent a person, using the language of light and subconsciousness. It is a duplicating process, in which one can explore a more expanded space of their mind and find their desires. Indeed, sometimes we even close our eyes to “see” the shadows (desires).
Going downstairs to a basement or an underground room darkens the shadows and intensifies the senses. In the lack of light and sound, one deconstructs a space in their mental landscape. However, the structures in this space are still connected.
Finally, finding one's own shadow in the underground space is worth it.
