Eastern grey squirrels are our adorable neighbors in New York City. Especially, East River Park is a home for wildlife, including squirrels, as well as a recreational space for humans. This project proposes a tree-trunk-like-home for squirrels during winter to prevent them from harsh weather. It is an animal-friendly vessel offering one way we humans and wildlife can live together in the city.
